Brush-tail Possum Pelt

The hollow core fiber structure of brushtail possum fur ensures that it doesn't freeze, providing warmth and protection against extreme cold. It's fur is reportedly 8% warmer than wool, 35% warmer than cashmere and 50% warmer than merino wool. This makes brushtail possum fur perfect for coats, cloaks, scarves, hats, mittens and other cold weather garments! They would even make a fabulous rug or throw blanket! It is also eco-friendly as they are harvested from New Zealand where they are an invasive species.

• Color patterns tend to be silver-grey, brown, black, red, or cream. The ventral areas are typically lighter and the tail is usually brown or black. 
  - The professional tan on these is excellent with it being soft and pliable - very easy to work with.
  - The pelts measure roughly 28" in length and 9" in width (sizes may vary slightly).
• -Pelts may have small holes and/or an imperfect tail.
