Pine Marten (Sable)

These prime Pine Marten (also called Sable) have dense, soft common brown fur and most have the signature gold on the throat area. Pelts average 27" in total length (nose to tail tip) and 3" in width. Pelts are available in 3 grades so you're sure to find something suitable for any need!

Premium Grade - pelts have good faces, full tails, no rubs in the fur and no visible defects. These pelts are perfect for display or sewing/crafting.

Medium Grade - pelts have full tails, faces may have larger eye holes or other small hole(s), may be some rubs in the fur or a small hole or two but nothing significant. These pelts are great for sewing/crafting.

Imperfect Grade - pelts may have flaws in the face/neck area, short or missing tail, rubs in the fur and a hole or two in the pelt. These pelts are still full of useful fur and are suitable for sewing/crafting.
