Beaver Pelt Sizing

Beaver pelts are measured differently than most fur pelts.

Size = Length + Width

Measurements are taken:

• Nose to base of tail (length)

• Side to side at the widest point (width)

The combined measurement determines the pelt size.

Important Notes

• Pelts may have some fur stubble visible on the leather side.

• As a natural product, each pelt will vary slightly in color, shape, and appearance.

• Leg, eye, and ear openings are standard and present on pelts of every grade.

Natural Fur Information

Real fur and leather products may have a mild natural scent or experience some shedding upon arrival. This is completely normal. Simply give the pelt a gentle shake or light brushing and allow it to hang in a well-ventilated area for a few days if needed.
